One of the nightmares was about snow. I was driving in a strange place, it was probably Portland, and I was trying to visit this university with a historic meteor impact crater at the center of its library but when I came out of the library there was snow everywhere like it had been untouched for days

And I had to get somewhere or I was going to lose everything and I drove and drove until I saw a road that looked clearer and it looks clear because the snow was melting I can see a little run off on the side and I thought great I’ll go up here and I went to the top of the little Hill and then I crested the hill and as soon as I was over my car entered what I thought was just a puddle, shallow across the valley in the road and it wasn’t

I just plummeted into an ocean of water tall as the trees and I tried to reverse and couldn’t and I just sat there at the wheel trying to think logically - do i smash the window do i try to drive up the other side of the hill i don’t know how far it is

And every second I’m just falling further and further with trees rising up above me and I’m trying to hold my breath to save oxygen and crying and panicking

And then I got to wake up and couldn’t go back to sleep because I didn’t want to die trapped in a car underwater

Of course once I dif it was another nightmare instead of dying in a melted snow forest ocean
