To catch you up to speed:

The deer was made last year as a gift for my step-dad.  It’s ‘the fucking deer’ because I knew I wanted to have a deer painting for him, but didn’t want to actually DO it.  It was getting down to the wire of when I needed to give it to him, though, so I began ‘screaming at myself to paint to the fucking deer’.  It did not take long and I didn’t think it would be a big deal so I only took a photo at first!

And now here we are.  Magical~ 

Anyhow, my art is temporarily a lot of digital stuff because I have a blood vessel that is leaking into my retina in my left eye, causing a central blind spot, distortion, floaters, and trouble with depth perception.  Hooray!  This is expensive to treat (I get an injection in my eye every month! Fun!) and makes it hard to paint In Real Life so I’m leaning hard on digital and nerdy while the treatment slowly shuts down the vessel that committed mutiny.  This includes restoring antique family photos for my grandmother.  Hopefully, you’ll still enjoy some of that!
