Got a snap of “the vintages” hanging together!
Purple Skipper “Scar” got an attempted repaint: 1 eye turned out great on but the other just blobbed up despite doing both at the same time (going by colour) and i have no idea why. I used matte sealant this time to avoid Skipper Shadow’s weepy eye look under flash. I’m probably going to have to redo both as I now know what suits them, just not blobby or over glossed. Maybe later this month, maybe next year. I really dislike painting even if I love what it can do to a doll.
Still not sure if PJ’s worth the long search for the right body. I tried her on a skipper sized fairytopia (Lumina) and the proportions seemed right in the shoulders and height even though the neck and skintone is off.
Blue TNT’s going up on ebay when I can get photos of her. it’s hard to photograph a doll you don’t like much, everything seems off. I feel like something’s missing.
I love the blue TNT, she looks delightful
