There is way more paint to remove than I thought, oh my
I don’t know if you can see the thick brush Strokes giving her a Caucasian kind of Pinky human skin tone but it’s all painted over the white resin. The color is on some of her elastic even.
She arrived perfectly though everything is intact her joints move really beautifully - she just needs work. I’ve been thinking about the directions I might like to take her, so we will see what happens.
why the fuck would you paint the whole doll rather than just get her in peach skin? that’s bizarre. looks like a lot of work, I look forward to seeing the progress
It looks like they tried to do the paint job they wanted and then realized that it was over all too pale and then went over the whole thing in peach acrylic. They’ve painted juuuuuuust around the eyebrows and I uncovered another try at the mouth slash with my first pass for removal. Though I wonder how you can feel like white resin is too pale for comparison to a corpse we only have pictures of in black and white…
I’m looking forward to giving her a new life! She’s beautifully made, even if the same could not be said for her paint job at present.
