Here’s the topography and a cross section of my retina mutiny for four visits, two photos per monthly visit. You can see my optic nerve on the left in the rainbow depth images, and my fovea is the dip in the center of the black and white images. The area to the right of the fovea is normal retina. To the left is The Swelling. It IS getting smaller, I have to keep telling myself that.
But you can see with the proximity to the nerve why they thought the nerve itself was swollen for so long.
I can see through the little rice grain shaped voids in the swelling, and obviously around it. So there’s a visual on my, uh, difficult vision.
