So my kryptonite this Gallifrey weekend was these tiny anime Doctors. Do not know why, but I saw them and was scream. I am Charmed that for all that they have little anime faces they actually managed to capture the shapes of their mouths and eyebrows really well. I say this not as someone who is creepy but someone who has had to study the faces of these men because I have drawn a lot of Classic Who and they were my first real studies and efforts into painting likenesses. ( Though let’s be real, Peter Davison does not have eyebrows and Patrick Troughton has far more than depicted). I think I’m going to give them some tiny touch ups as far as places where paint did or didn’t go but they’re so cute I was overwhelmed.

The booth I bought them from is more like a doctor who thrift store. They sell stuff that’s used like they’re just sitting in their garage. So they didn’t have a whole set of doctors to choose from. This may have been the best for my wallet.

I bought Two because I can be persuaded to buy most anything if it is Patrick Troughton and god he’s so tiny and grumpy cute look at him. Five in the shiny red vest is a variant which wss cool. I thought he was meant to be wearing the vest from Planet of Fire at first, but no he’s just fresh off of being Tom Baker, haha. Seven came with tiny umbrella aaa

They need to make companions, because a tiny Jamie, honestly

Anyway, Two, Five, and Seven are some of my favorite Doctor. I want to get Six, that figure is Adorable and also Colin Baker is great, and I may have purchased a Thirteen on the internets. I also want an Eight but he looks like he is a little harder to track down. Four is a maybe. I like the 4th Doctor, but I can’t decide if I like the figure.

Some of them I would definitely not be getting - 11 is actively horrifying looking and he on the whole was a major cause of feeling Doctor Who fatigue at some point, so I’m just like yah no I’m good, I’m still sick of you. Frankly, I’ll probably be skipping all of the new ones except for 12 and 13.
