So, at one point in the Macra Terror Jamie does ‘The Highland Fling’ for a bunch of Cheerleaders. I’ll be honest with you dudes, that despite me having Scot blood, I didn’t actually think it was real. Especially because Jamie tells the cheerleaders that it gets its name from how you fling yourself out of the room. Whiiiich, is the opposite of what the Highland Fling is supposed to accomplish, actually. Apparently you are hot shit at that dance if you don’t bounce anywhere at all.
If you had not guessed, this video is a man doing the Highland Fling.
Guys, if telesnaps are to be believed, then Jamie did this dance while wearing trousers, a weird bellhop-ish button-y shirt, and sporting a flower lei.
“Sir? We’re going to need to take you in on several charges of aggravated assault with a deadly pout.”
To make matters worse, at the end of the episode, Jamie reprises his dance. WITH BEN, POLLY AND THE DOCTOR.
