I feel like I should have done more today but I just spent most of the day trying to find creative ways to elevate my leg none of which provided long-term satisfactory relief
I did go and get my magical medical Honey and a bag of cat food.
But I’ve been too uncomfortable in any one situation for too long to have done very much. Perhaps it is better because tomorrow should be action-packed.
We’re going to get access to newspapers that only this town’s historical society and Library have access to plus they have tons of photos and artifacts and all sorts of nonsense. I want very much to find another hint of Mary Melissa herself, her mother Elizabeth, or her granddaughter Verne. I’d like an obituary for every one of them, although Elizabeth’s will be the most elusive.
And then I went to go to cemeteries because I’ve been desperately wanting to go to the cemetery as my whole life we drove past them all the time and I just got this strange vibe that I should never ask to go there or when I did people were like no that’s the other denominations Cemetery. Whatever dude I want to see them all. I’ve got two and a half cemeteries that are almost completely my family and I don’t keep track of religious denominations because I frequently forget that religion is a thing that people engage with at all so I don’t care where they’re buried I want to see them and document where they’re buried and see if the headstones need to be cleaned and photograph everything 4 preservation on one level to add to all of the projects I’m doing online with cemeteries. I’m hoping to fulfill some Online requests from people I don’t even know for people I may or may not be related to but they just don’t have pictures of the headstones for.
Several Greats Aunt Verne is family reported to have died of brain cancer. They often don’t get that specific in obituaries but I would still like to see hers. I have her husband’s, I think because a lot of the albums that I have I’m beginning to believe are hers and were not put together by my great-grandmother.
Looking for places that might be Elizabeth’s burial even though I don’t have a death date for her. Would be great to see some kind of announcement too.
But yeah bdlah blah I’m newspapers and cemeteriiies wooo
