We just got a giant email clearing everyone who works in our central office in the state capitol to work from home or to come in and work like 4 hours and leave. This is great and all but there are no cases of the virus in the county where the state capital is and meanwhile the Philadelphia region is absolutely lighting up with them and we are starting to pick up momentum here on the other side of the state.
This is the same pattern that occurs when anyone gets bad weather. Our entire side of the state gets completely ignored and many of us are forced to go to work in dangerous conditions while they just get the hint of a snowstorm in central office and we get all these emails shutting everything down.
I’m really wondering about who is authorized to make what decisions where.
