It’s been really something watching advertising switch tracks so hard.  I mean, I guess it wasn’t on a ‘go outside’ kick before, but it feels like everything is on sale and ‘hey, since we’re at home anyway…’  

It feels both like we shouldn’t be trying to make money from stay at home orders and like pretending everything is normal is nooooot greeeatt? Some feel more insidious, like, a company that you never deal with physically anyway, like, your electric or phone provider being like, hey, we’re here with you, is kind of fucked up, but it’s also weird to just see, “Hey, great deals at JC Penney!”  Bro, no one was going to JC Penney when we were allowed outside, so what do you think is happening right now?   So I don’t know where things should be (advertising is cancelled!)  but it is surreal.
