I’m really tired of having to manufacture an absolutely Perfectly Balanced Set of Conditions in order to do something.  Background music, not too new but not too predictable, that’s enjoyable but not engrossing, that matches the right mood, with the right amount of words from zero to frantic overloaded syllables, that has the right level of prior associations, that’s loud enough to be provide texture but not so much that it becomes abrasive…
