I knew what would happen and yet

What *can’t* we learn from looking to the wisdom of nature?

Here’s one

The best part is that the cat’s first box was already too small. “I learned nothing and never will.”

“Small box makes me feel safe…smaller box make me feel…safer??”

…And you look at this and think, “This is how the world will change.

“Cats will keep trying to get into a box like that. Cats will keep failing.

“Until one day… somewhere, somehow, a cat manages it.

“And in response, the world will have no choice but to change. The laws of spacetime will learn to bend to intent. Great distance will learn to be overcome by the power of will. Gravity will become elective. Desert places will bloom and broken hearts will mend. To the wide world’s benefit, impossibility will become scarcer stuff because of creatures who, generation after generation, century after century, millennium after millennium, refused to take ‘no’ for an answer.

“…And no one will ever complain again about having to clean out the litter box.”
