and the way they’re so. precisely. placed. makes me think they’re rooted these days with computer control instead of by humans (except the hairlines–those still look like they were done by humans)
Also, shorter hair styles require more densly-rooted hair so there’s less scalp visible, which means rerooting them confronts you with…this
