I bought these! I’m enjoying them a lot actually!

I was very surprised to see that the pets’ heads turn. The hair is super soft? I expected some crunch and was not met with any.

The hands are starting to haunt me, I think they have been able to use the same hands in Monster High Ever After High and She-Ra and now these. I’m enjoying articulation and they stand on their feet, which I was surprised to find are nicely sculpted underneath.

Some of the accessories are super great - I like just fiddling with the growing plant and I think the club / torch is really cute - while others are just like okay this is here, I guess. I like that they all have different ankle wraps and outfit constructions. They are smaller than I envisioned but still really cute. I had envisioned needing to do a massive repaint Rescue Mission but they look decent! I was expecting pixels and blur.

A few more pieces of plastic in places then I would like but not anyting quite as egregious as, say, a plastic shirt wrapped around the waist. Fabric is all still mostly same texture and printed and nobody gets more than two pieces of fabric, but I’m feeling cautiously smile? This was all probably pretty smart. With the defense that they are prehistoric people, a lack of hemming or uneven hair or any number of things could be justified.

I don’t feel ripped off and I like bright colors, so here we are!

I wish the artist character had been a girl I wanted so many female artist characters when I was a kid and it’s still there. Would have bought the other one otherwise haha
