yeah so I bought one of those mystery rat bodies
it’s made by hasbro, and the date on the back says 2018
thots:
- articulation is alright, no major complaints. limbs a bit loose, and I worry her right hand will break, but this was not officially released, so I’ll cut some flack
- love the hands sculpt, and the fur detailing, very cute
- the paint on the feet looks like it was still wet when the shoes were put on, and I have no idea why. it feels vaguely sticky too. it reminds me of of an early repaint I did that got ruined by the sealant, which makes me concerned the paint is reacting with the plastic
- she was very dirty
- the tail will not stay on, but when it will stay put, you can use it to make her stand
- she is very tiny, like, she fits KuuKuuHaruJuku and Equestria Girls (the first verions) clothes, MH are almost too big
- I haven’t tested yet what other shoes fit, but she has a very high arch
overall I like this body fine, and if it has been officially released, I think what few issues I have could’ve been addressed. Like most who talked about it, I’m super curious about what a full doll would’ve looked like, but hesitant to say I would’ve loved this line just from this body, hasbro has…. “interesting” ideas on what makes a good face sculpt, plus as-is I don’t like her sock dress much, even if the idea is funny

Hasbro? I wonder if it was going to be LPS offshoot (Hasbro isn’t exactly known for original properties these days)
Have you tested which heads fit?
So i’ve seen someone say there was a hasbro trademark for “trashion avenue” or something, which is probably these. I really wanna know what their heads looked like because if they got so far as to have shoes, bodies and outfits (all the outfits look like they’re made of trash. Sock dress, a coffee filter skirt, newspaper etc) surely they had heads?
I’m sad they didn’t officially release these, I mean animal dolls never do well but damnit i’d have bought em.

I really would love to see what an LPS head would look like on them. 😆
