I’ve spent years maximizing the space on my bookshelves, and now I’m doing it with my kid’s t-shirt drawer. If you fold your shirts like this, you can “stack” them in a way that allows you to see all the shirts (without digging under piles) and use the full height of the drawer. Okay, so some of you asked how the shirts are folded. That’s a good point. They will only fit perfectly in the drawer like this if they are all folded to exactly the same size. The photos below show you how to fold the shirts. In the second pic, you’ll see that I’m folding vertically down from the edge of the collar, and I’ll do that on both sides. This is what keeps all the shirts the same size in the drawer.
