As someone who was abused for a very long time, I relate to Lena’s experiences a lot. To see her growing as a person, changing for the better, and standing up to the person who hurt her? All while surrounded by people encouraging her to be magic and good and just herself, especially if that means she’s different than the rest of them? This episode was so important in so many ways.

Happy anniversary to my favorite Ducktales episode. Nightmare on Killmotor inspired me so much as a victim of abuse....
