Dang, I REALLY prefer the original Elsa sculpt. And her slight lavender skin tone, honestly. I like her longer forehead and cheeks and stronger jaw shape. The lighter less yellow hair on the newer ones is nice though.

I like this character a lot and relate to her junk just like millions of other people do, blah blah blah, so I have bought dolls along the way, as one does. The original Elsa is the first one they released with the first film but got extremely difficult to find for less than a trillion dollars on eBay because Disney underestimated how much people would relate to a girl who had been repressed horribly all her life having a dramatic music number in which she essentially yells “fuck it all” off the side of a mountain.

Middle Elsa is the JCPenney release of the travel outfit from Frozen 2 which I got because the Disney Store equivalent is a singing doll and I don’t like singing and talking dolls.

Final Form Snow Queen Elsa is the Disney Store release concurrent with second film release.

I’ve been thinking about a repaint for the Frozen 2 dolls for a while. Particularly final form Elsa.
