I heard that Lisa Frank is a problematic fuck so I'd be super funny if you'd keep using that style and just make it revolting or something. Like, fuck you Lisa, get replaced by Lady.
P.s. if I had the $ I'd commission you to make a Fuck Lisa Frank piece but instead I'll plant that idea and watch it grow bc you could fuck that up in the best way. I mean I'd make it myself but it's been years since I've dicked with digital and your the superior artist in this situation. Or feel free to ignore that and keep on living your best life.

I’ve been poaching Lisa Frank for fandom parodies for years, though I think my Londo and G’Kar piece is the most successful by far. I love doing it. Mimicking styles in places they have almost no place being is just a particularly enjoyable hobby for me. Lisa Frank was also a defining corner of my childhood, and I used to just stare into my school folders transfixed by the depth and colors I saw. The images are not as deep and complicated as I believed as a child, but being able to pull them off now does satisfy my inner 8-year-old, who believed achieving Lisa Frank’s level was impossible.
I have heard that it’s not super pleasant to work for Lisa Frank, but not a whole lot of detail. I know she’s been reclusive since I worshiped anything with her work on it (and honestly, I still love it), so reports from the battle front of Lisa Frank are a sparse. Though the latest she did was a collab with Spongebob that was an abomination. More kittens, Lisa.
But what I do find funny is that Lisa Frank copyright claimed my Londo and G’Kar piece on either RedBubble or Society6, as though I was moving in on their lucrative ‘middle aged alien men’ sales. The owners of Babylon 5, however, have done and said nothing.
So someone has a sense of humor, but it is not Lisa.
(I would be very happy to be commissioned to do a Lisa Frank style image any time, haha)
