My package with a questionable relationship to reality was my first two Kurhn dolls! Here’s the first one.
She’s an officially licensed Disney Minnie Mouse collab, but her Disney is So Much More subtle than what you usually find on Disney versions of things in the West. Without her bag (which is the only disappointment I have, as it… isn’t a bag), you could miss the Mickey motif on the dress easily. Of course her hair has mouse ears vibes, but on its own, it doesn’t scream at you. I really like this subtlety. This doll came in three color options, this teal, pink, and red. I’m gonna go for something in the green to blue spectrum of things Every Time, so this was a no brainer decision.
Her threaded earrings are an unusual feature. The creases in her palms were unexpected, too. She also came with her own stand, hooray. The little bell on her not bag is real and so she jingles softly when she’s moved. I’m so enamored with this one and her comrade in pancake box life that I’m glad I may have gone a little batty in August and ordered a few more.
I ordered my Kurhn dolls from the official Kurhn shop on AliExpress. It took a month and a half and I nearly died watching the tracking. I’m excited to get one in the more extremely traditional mythology style as well as some very contemporary fashion dolls.
