Anyways, I sewed not two, not three, but four new things! I’m pretty sure the hoodie was something I cut out last year?
The skirt and shirt are @dollsahoy patterns (thank you for sharing~) and the hoodie and pants are my patterns.
The girl up top is a hybrid of a curvy Barbie with DC Super Hero Girls forearms, hands, and calves. I made the pants as directed and they still fit, but the bottom hem is just cut a little higher. The hoodie is technically Ken-sized, but I love the way it fits on curvy Barbies, with the extra long sleeves.
I finally used up the last bit of my “pink lemonade” fabric as I call it. I really like this fabric and I hate I have never been able to find it again. It was a fat quarter I got at Walmart years ago. Since it was the last little bit, I ended up having to make the sleeves shorter.
I really like the polygonal gradient fabric and I took the time to make sure the colors lined up along the side seems. The pink lemonade shirt plus the polygonal gradient fabric are definitely a look, but we have all seen Mattel do worse. I’m mainly just letting the stack guide me.
