Qiyue (kiwi hair) got back to me (!!!) and provided pictures of their current “shimmer hair” I should have been more specific because I think half of these are tinsels.

I heard that the largest retailers of nylon hair in America has just died* and orders have been delayed many months. So it may a good time to spread excellent retailer or supplier right now.

If need, we could offer you a color box for Nylon hair for color reference first.I am definitely going to try and purchase a nylon color guide and get any info about the difference between what other manufacturers call nylon and kiwi’s ultra fine soft stuff. Just got to get my brain to work. If i had to describe it it’s like one of those download progress boxes that says 98% and is animated but not actually doing anything.

A lot of those definitely are tinsels, but, honestly, it hadn’t occurred tome that the traditional hair fiber producers were also producing the tinsel, so that’s interesting
