Hey, fellow doll people, I accidentally This. Can you recommend best approach to repair which retains head movement? So far the only thing I can really come up with is that I would need to break it more ( crack neck open, glue peg on one side, thread neck knob, glue peg and other neck side back simultaneously) in order to fix it and I just want to make sure that there’s not a significantly easier option that I’m missing before I make it worse on purpose.

I generally have success by shoving the neck peg loop back into the neck (usually end up pinching finger skin painfully in the process) and it holds the head just fine

If you want the security of the cross bar, I’ve had success drilling through the neck (side to side) at the level the bar should be, pushing the neck peg loop back in, then pushing sprue through the drilled holes and the neck peg loop, then plastic welding the sprue in place and finally sanding it smooth

But, yeah, just popping it back in shoud work, unless things have changed since the last body I did that with

It looked extremely like it was not going to go back in, but I’ll give that or the appropriate drilling action a whirl, thanks!
