Another “yep, that head’s from an articulated body, but I never had that” doll, a BMR1959 Kira on a Liv body. This doll’s eyes were originally angled down a bit? so I added some black paint on the outside tops of the irises to bring the gaze up, and I also filled in that little bit of painted teeth.
I didn’t realize how much of a mess the hair was until editing the photos.
And the dress…in 2004 I had a dream about finding a bunch of MIB early 1980s Barbie clothes for really cheap and specifically remembered a dress like this. I know it was 2004 because that’s the file date on the dress I made back then for female action figures
but because it was for female action figures, whose heads pop off easily for dressing, I made this one without a back opening, and passed it on long ago because it was useless for regular dolls.
When I realized I had just enough of the ivory lace to make more sleeves and also had some purple knit in roughly the right color again, I decided why not rerecreate this dream dress (which is admittedly loose on the Liv body)
