Came across a seller last week offering Robotech dolls which I didn’t know existed, so I picked them up. They came nude, but upon looking, I wasn’t that enamored with the outfit choices anyhow. I had a huge relationship with the franchise when I was about 10 or 11 and it made a big impact. It wasn’t until later I learned everything about how it was constructed. It’s really neat to have these, they were a childhood throwback impulse buy haha
Maybe I’ll actually do something with them, haha

The way that anime characters have been attempted to be sculpted and sold for the US market is wild. These are kind of trying to understand, and then the original North American Sailor Moon dolls seemed to have been sculpted by someone who didn’t understand how a stylized anime face even Worked and was like ‘okay so the faces have this little pinch instead of a nose, got it’.
I wouldn’t have wanted them as a kid, but yeah, I appreciate them now. Still deciding what I’ll do with them haha
