youtube series id like to do if i had funding to do it #3431223: series called ‘convention-going’ where i go to different incredibly niche professional conventions and sit in on different events and interview people and ask why theyre there, if theyre excited about anything going on, what they like about it, if theyre presenting something and if so what their research is about, how many years theyve been going, etc. first one would be the annual AOSA seed convention where people get together to decide on new niche seed rules and present new seed research. next one would be a garbage truck convention of some sort. maybe a convention for people who design office supplies. my grandpa worked for a phone company for most of his life and once they sent him to a 3 day convention/training thing where they just talked about different ways to dig ditches. theres a whole world out there
