I saw it in someone’s IG story and not the source post so I don’t know who made the collage, but it looks like someone’s already using images of the 2008 MGA America’s Next Top Model dolls when making posts about the upcoming MGA Aria line, which, given how hard the MGA ANTM dolls flopped, I really can’t imagine MGA making Barbie-like dolls again, but I can also see people not recognizing the doll in the collage and thinking that’s how Aria dolls’re gonna look
Wow I looked those up and I do not remember them AT ALL.
I remember they were in the Bratz section, away from the Barbies in Walmart, and knew that was a bad place for them. All of them that I’ve had, I got second hand (this picture is from late 2008)
Like all MGA doll lines, they suffered from having the same head sculpt for everybody and some baffling design choices in the body, while the clothes were high quality and so trendy they hurt to look at now
Didn’t they have really strange bodies with like, molded “poses” so their torsos were all like.. distorted adn shit?
