I know I was talking about color changing toys at some point with @dollsahoy, but the rainbow leopard hair Barbie actually does color change the way I remember color change happening when I was a kid – that is, the color change with temp stays the way you change it until you apply the other temperature again.

I haven’t had a color changing thing in a while that has done this, and considering Mattel is ever searching for new ways to scrape the bottom, I was not expecting it.

This isn’t really like a recommendation or anything, like, we all know what we’re getting into with Barbie lately, but it just struck me as interesting.
