I find that my interests in all of the things that I like just recharges my batteries for the other thing or helps to inform or combine all of my interest in weird and fun ways. Painting a bunch of dolls for a while recharges the painting on paper batteries and exploring this particular media franchise makes the other one that I like fresher when I come back to it.

I think just having a whole spectrum of stuff to explore and look at it from as many angles as you want is a delightful part of being alive. When I can look at something from a particular angle and then a facet of it catches a corner of another thing I like and I find out I can make them intersect in some sort of way that’s one of the coolest experiences.

Similarly, I take a lot of joy in liking things that are violently opposite and I derive such amusement and Delight from the fact that I have the ability to love things from all over the place and that I’m not limited to one flavor of thing.

It’s just real good loving all sorts of things. I recommend it on the whole. I’m glad you get to do it too!
