I had a really elaborate dream last night, but highlights include:

  • An ice cream place where the flavors were named after verb forms of things that are not food. “To Dog” flavor was only 5 cents and concerned me deeply because it was so much cheaper than the others. The menu was organized by price and that was on top. Other flavors included “To Void”, “ "To House”. No on else had trouble with the menu, and the people I was with were frustrated that I couldn’t parse the menu and threatened to get me “To Dog” if I didn’t decide. Thiiiiiis is probably going into ISH, haha.
  • Library that consumed people from out of town and made them into video game NPCs and television characters for the local media. The staff were always sneaking off into a side room asking if there was a new show yet. It was actively malicious and manipulative and involved this looming architectural overhang in the main hall that unleashed a black tornado of thick suffocating Stuff to send people into a panic anf have them choose the shortest way out. Shortest way led to a room that promised an exit but actually condemned you to be trapped. It should be a story by itself, it was intense.
  • My excoworker Frank scolding me for quitting without saying goodbye. But from his new job working at the college I graduated from, which I also had assignments due for that I could not remember or draw in time.
  • A chain of taco restaurants in really bright 90s McDonald’s colors, particularly bright lettuce green, all on long bird legs that reached as high as the signs meant for visibility from the highway. I wanted to go to one. The legs were never discussed but the people I was traveling with scoffed at the inauthentic nature of the food and wouldn’t go.
