turns out when you ask other Americans “hey did your high school have you fill out a questionnaire that matched you romantically with your classmates” the response you get is either ‘what the fuck’ or ‘yeah we did that too lol’

We did this as a Valentine’s Day event when I was in 8th grade, but a ton of the questions were really inappropriate. It was asking stuff like whether you close your eyes when you kiss and I wanted to die filling it out because everything I was being asked was stuff I hadn’t done, didn’t want to do, or was mad personal or all of the above. The results would be done later and you had to pay for them during lunch breaks.
I brought it up at home and with my friend and our parents brought up concerns and shut the whole thing down and my school never made me fill in a survey about “how far I’d go"on a first date ever again.
