I haven’t been buying many dolls lately, but I did throw down 80$ for this set bc I have been begging for a PJ repro since infancy
Barbie is inferior to the 50th anniversary version, but she’s much better than Gold Metal Barbie and I lost the glasses and towel from my 50th repro so I’m happy to have those lol
I absolutely LOVE PJ, she’s beautiful and well worth the amount of time I’ve been waiting for them to make her.
They all (thankfully) have saran hair, though it was really messy and kinda frizzy fresh from the box so I had to straighten them all out- Barbie also had a bunch of tiny broken strands popping out of her parting.
Surprisingly, PJ and Christie also have the vintage clasps on their swimsuits!
While I feel a little ugly having spent 80$ on three basic dolls in swimsuits, these are still really good reproductions made with good materials and I love PJ and Christie so much.
