Very cool find from Petra Okkonen on the MLP Wiki Facebook group! This pamphlet seems to be for sales reps who want to make MLP merchandise.
What’s even MORE interesting is this pamphlet lists sets / names for ponies in various countries, which showed that someone (probably Hasbro in the US, the parent company) was far more organized / aware of localizations than I expected.
Check out what’s happening in the Twice As Fancy column! Half the countries list the 1st set of TAFs (Milky Way, etc), half list the second set (Munchy, etc). Which makes some sense because sets were sometimes delayed in other countries. But also there’s no artwork for the second set, so what were companies supposed to do?
Also, why is the first set of TAFs listed for the US, of all places? Error? Or was that set just that popular? (I mean, Hasbro did later decide to give them the exclusive mail order baby set, so maybe!)
