Instead of everyone being shocked when Yami gets his own body and he doesn’t wear goth outfits, studded leather, belts, chokers and such, when Yami’s gone everyone meets up and they all just pause as Yuugi comes out. “Wait a minute… IT WAS YOU!”
Similarly with Ryou, everyone after everything, finally get around to a games night and he’s using the same spooky deck as Yami Bakura, because they’re his cards and Joey just needs a moment because he was really hopeful that it was the spirits doing but no. Ryou’s just like that.
