This is Two Houses, my most chatty stray! He’s looking to upgrade to just one house. With people in it, and food, and heat. He’s doing okay, but as winter wears on his situation becomes more urgent. I can’t provide him with a permanent home, but if someone else is willing to do so, I can and will bring Two Houses in, set him up in a jumbo dog crate with a heater on the sun porch, and get him started on flea meds and dewormers, which I’m assuming will be a need for him. His new owner would need to set him up with a first vet visit and eventually get him neutered.
I suspect he’d be okay with other cats in the house–he’s had good manners with other strays so far!–and he will love forever anyone who gives him attention and love. He’s already prioritizing petting over food, poor little guy. Two Houses and I are in Michigan, and this is posted on 12/27/21. I’m willing to road trip this guy to his new owner if needed, but whoever takes him has to be sure they can commit–once I bring him in and start him on meds, it’s either a new home or the animal shelter, and I don’t love his odds there.
