You ever think about that flashback sequence showing Marik and Ishizu playing duel monsters together in the tomb. How’d they even get a hold of the game. Did one of the other tombkeepers go up for groceries and grab some starter decks like “I thought the kids would like this. :)” What else did they have down there? Were they studying the ancient rites and never seeing the sun between feeding their tamagotchis? What sparing remnants of the modern world were the Ishtar kids allowed to have and keep
