I’ve been working on this new piece for Gallifrey One for something like 8 months. (The casts were fighting me).
This week I got a perfect sterling silver cast which meant it was time to break out the renaissance alchemy vibes and crush up some Lapis Lazuli for inlay.
The final photo shows the current state of the pendant which is really damn good looking if I do say so myself.
It had a couple tiny voids that showed up after the inlay finished settling, but those are totally fixable. After that it needs some final cleanup and polishing.
After the last 3 years of rollercoaster this being such a win last night was something I really needed.
