Of all the toys I own, she must be the most highly sought after, because even after years of posting repainted dolls and pictures of shelves full of figures, dolls, statues and other toys, Peppercat is the only thing I regularly have to tell strangers I’m not selling. I’ve got her little projectiles also, but she looks more balanced without them, so I took these photos without before putting them back in for her usual spot on the shelf.
I wish she had some lower body articulation because her speed and flexibility were things I liked about her to the point of buying this toy 20 year ago, but she’s pretty bulky already, so they did okay for what they were going for! Her ‘light up’ eyes work so much like my beloved Princess Gwenevere collection that she’s got an extra nostalgia layer on her.
I probably made my first post (the one that brings people here, I imagine!) about finding her in my things and remembering who she was 10 years ago.
