The Sailor Moon cologne smell is not the same. The style of the bristles on the brush that came with it is also totally different than the one that I had as a kid so it’s possible that it’s a different manufacturer or they were just from different runs. A little disappointing but it feels worth it to have checked? I would have been wondering all the time if I hadn’t bought it. And maybe now I have a little more knowledge to get me closer to that one or the extremely elusive Princess Jasmine one that is the real originator of my scent memory.

I’ll post some pictures when my spine doesn’t want me to be horizontal 👍

It smells mostly of honeysuckle so it seems fine, especially for how old it is. The smell I remember was a little spicier, although this honeysuckle kind of smell might have been a component! The smell feels more like something that a kid would wear than the stuff that I actually had as a kid.

your-sinclair said: how old is it? could have gone off a little depending on how it was stored or what was in it, i have kids’ perfume from 20 years ago that was stored in cool dry places, though it does pretty much smell as i remembered it
