I decided to categorize DS9 episodes:
- Sisko gets dragged into Bajoran shenanigans
- Odo investigates crime
- Quark commits crime
- Something Trill occurs, and is instantly forgotten
- It’s time for the Ferengi Family Hour!
- O'Brien must suffer
- Kira proudly showcases what a bad judge of character she is whenever an old friend shows up
- Something stupid happens on Bajor, which turns out to be even stupider than we first think
- A single woman appears and Julian forgets how to Julian
- A wild Garak appears and Julian is Extra Julian
- Sisko, Miles, Odo or Kira suffer life-altering trauma but are fine within 43 minutes
- Garak aggressively flirts with Julian as a substitute for therapy
- Worf wakes up and chooses pettiness
- Kira falls in love with someone who is exceptionally bland
- Dukat shows up and reveals that he’s even worse than we already thought
- Sisko loses his temper (if I were Sisko this would be every episode)
- Random shit happens, then Quark says something surprisingly profound
- An inappropriate romance story focuses on Jake
- A spy breaks into Julian’s bedroom in the middle of the night promising Julian a good time…
- Ezri tries to do her job and fails (honestly she’s a bad counsellor, I’m assuming she was a good counsellor before she was joined)
- Kai Winn decides that Kai should be spelled Karen and complains to the manager
- Attack Pattern Omega!
