Thanks for sharing, because now I’ll think about this all day. Like, I’ve never seen this before, but as a product of the 90s, I definitely have seen this before - you know? The tune. The animation. The acting. The random and most likely very expensive shifts into that early CGI animation. The fact that from this opening alone I am not exactly sure if this show was fully animated or live action or a mixture of both. The way, again, I’ve never seen this before but probably could guess the plot of at least one episode. I’m a little obsessed.

This is Such A Big Deal.
All through the late 90s and beyond, a clip of this music video opening thing being played at a convention for a bunch of whiny men was all over Sailor Moon places. All we had was audio that would just garble out and the picture was at an angle based on where the person tape recording the television was sitting.
A few animation cells surfaced in the 20 years since that video was taken but otherwise this clip and the episode that it’s supposedly accompanied were considered the most lost of lost media.
A woman on YouTube orchestrated a thorough track down and just posted this stuff which has been lost for 20 years this past week!
You don’t even need to imagine the episode it goes with, BEHOLD.
