This calls back to the utter shock and horror of meeting Jennifer one day in our Gallifrey Hotel room.

AND how I habe different names based on when people knew me. Did you meet me during JtHM Fandom? You probably call me LYX. Lady if you hoped on around Doctor Who or Star Trek. Lady is still prevalent with occasional dips into Xel which I also really like.

But THEN there’s the people who met me at Gallifrey, or anyone I met from online experiences… at this point I’m Lady except to my immediate family and old friends who know too much.

I always kind of think good things only happen to Lady and Real Name pays bills and suffers. I ask therapists and pretty much anyone not close to stop using Real Name because I feel like I’m being yelled at or violated.

When I talk to myself I use the pronoun ‘we’.

Similar feeling to the married women who used to call into the call center I worked at selling senior clothing. A good portion of them were subscribed under Mrs husband’s name so I didn’t even have a first name to use on them. It felt almost like linguistic hijab.
