This is such a complicated question. If Kaiba grew up in a normal home, absolutely not. He’d be A Guy, with big ears, tall and skinny _and Yugi would be all over it._ Yugi would think he is the HOTTEST Just Some Guy to exist. He’d be holding him up to his friends like “look at the HOT boyfriend I grabbed!” And they’d be like “:/”
BUT, as a young CEO, having to put on that mask that says “I don’t care, I’m invulnerable,” PLUS getting to be way too invested in fashion and how he looks - THEN the press thinks he’s hot, though individual opinion would vary. In the PERFORMANCE of the entity Seto Kaiba, with his money and disdainful attitude (and working out to go to space), he would be considered hot.
And Yugi STILL holds him up, going, “Can you believe my boyfriend is so hot?!” And his friends are still like “:/”.

dick pistons is correct i am also of the opinion that kaiba is just some guy and the rest of the friend group recognizes this but yugi (and atem) think he’s unbearably handsome
