Kitty going to vet later today, so now I have to distract myself with things~
(Backstory for those of you just joining the Lady Yate-xel Train: My cat Zoe is 18 years old, and is thus on the intense old side for a cat, so any change in her behavior is usually cause for massive anxiety alarm on my part. She is sweet and loving and gets white fur on everything and has been with me since childhood, but in the last year I’ve been out of work and stuck living isolated in the middle of the woods, she’s been my constant companion. I love her dearly. We know each other’s patterns and mannerisms inside and out, so when I raise the vet alarm, even though I’m not the one paying for her bills (she’s my parents’ cat, technically), I always get the okay to take her because they know it must be serious business.)
