We are incredibly sorry to have caused so much trouble. You’re right, please don’t blame our prize winner, she merely asked for her favorite fan art on a cup. She gave us your exact pictures. This didn’t seem like it would be a problem because it would never be up for sale. We are very sorry we forgot to ask before we posted.
Because it wasn’t a commission, it slipped our mind to ask before using the photos as reference (which isn’t an excuse, just an explanation). If you would like, we can take the pictures down.
Please understand no harm was meant. We were just really happy for her prize to be finished.

Apologies for the semi-public forum, it seemed the best way to make sure that whoever was the root of this saw and understood the issue, especially since this is a different story than the one I got from the other person involved. I’m unsettled by of the implications of that, but at this point, I’d just like to be done with all this and get credit and a link back on the original post! You don’t have to take anything down or anything like that, just a quick acknowledging edit!
