the Correct Empathetic Responses when someone said a thing that required more than a laugh or smile
actually come to think of it i don’t think the laugh came naturally either
“how much is TOO much laughing? um. was this story painful in a funny way for the speaker or just awful. am i supposed to gasp or giggle or wince sympathetically”
Usually, I am super great at people, but there are times when people talk about certain topics and I can just FEEL the television static replacing my face as I try to figure out what and how much expression is desired by the other party.
