for some reason, i’ve decided tonight’s background music is the X-Files theme and the Unsolved Mysteries theme, the two songs that freaked me out  HARD CORE when I was little.    I loved both those shows (even if I didn’t understand them) and yet the theme songs always felt like an ordeal and really set my nerves on fire.   

There’s a certain point in the X-Files theme, when I watch it, where I can still feel a leftover chill reaction from when I was seven or whatever, it’s amazing.
