She was primarily interested in getting the doll for her clothes and her chicken, haha, so I thought it would be fun to paint the doll to be something nice to have too!

Well, she won’t get CLAMP eyes, but I do want to give her and the rest of the crew faces more like the manga!  I’m planning to tweak their outfits to reflect that more as well.  I was enchanted with the manga art growing up, and while the anime was my introduction to the series, the manga’s imagery is far preferable to me.  

And manga eyes would be more forgiving on the stain remaining, but I’m still gonna try to bleach it out as much as possible because there’s some murphy’s law shit in place here, I’m sure

Banshee has learned from the best - Johnny considers everyone else’s closets fair game and the others have stopped fighting it.  Edgar often suspects shirts from the basement are just made for Johnny to take from him later and Devi has definitely obtained two of certain things as insurance from Johnny ‘borrowing’ them.  She’s also taken things from him in return since they’re the same size.   Edgar is fortunate that Johnny only steals his shirts.  Devi has to watch out for nearly everything.

Jimmy usually has the opposite problem and can’t even get Johnny to take the clothes he offers.

Yeah, in the many re-releases over the years, they have removed varying patterns of the usage of ‘damn’ and one ‘hell’, sometimes.  I own four separate releases of the film, with the most recent one finally being what I wanted, haha.  

My first VHS copy had everything intact, but it was VHS and was jittery and not very clear.  The first DVD I had was similar, but it was also a bit cloudy, like it had not been taken from the original source.  

The next DVD was a nice, polished release for the 25th Anniversary.  Mine is autographed in multiple places and everything, but you cannot imagine my dismay when I watched it and discovered they had removed Molly Grue screaming at the unicorn.  The film looked great, but they’d removed an important line, and every other incidental damn.  I was not alone.

Now, FINALLY, the most recent release for Blu-Ray and DVD is so crisp it’s almost too clear and everybody swears properly.   And this is the version that’s on Netflix.
