At this point, my work is tending toward the loose and extra colorful end of things. My work can vary quite a bit, so if you can pinpoint an image of mine that features an aesthetic you particularly like when proposing a project, that will help both of us!
Make sure you read everything relevant to the size and type you want! I have some limitations in place that I haven’t before in order to balance the time/money ratio a bit better.

These are the things I’ve been doing for the color palette meme, though yours don’t have to be limited palette. These are loose and feature abstract elements as a background. They’re all suitable for printing at 8.5 by 11 inches or smaller.
There are no extra figures or background options for these images.
Digital “Waist-Up” ¾ Figure - 35$
Hips or waist up.
Can be like the $30 option, or with a little more definition. Lines digital or traditional. Background can be minimal, space/simple sparkle, abstract, or absent for this price.
Add $15 for an additional figure. Add $10 for more complex background elements.
Digital (or Hybrid Traditional and Digital) Full Figure - $45
Digital or pencil lines colored digitally. Background can be minimal, space/simple sparkle, abstract or absent.
Add $15 for an additional figure. No complex background options on this one, basic only.

And by ‘traditional’ I mostly mean watercolor.I can use other media, but watercolor is the one I use most, which means it ends up looking the best, is fastest, and is thus usually cheapest. Base prices assume a 8.5 by 11 in. size, and a blank, simple colorwash, or colorspace background. Contact me for adjustments in size and details.
Traditional Bust - $40
On a half sheet for $30.
No extra figures and no other background options on this.
Traditional ¾ Figure - $55
Waist or hips up.
An additional character/figure is $15. Additional background options $10+.
Traditional Full Figure - $65
Additional figure/character - +$20
Simple backgrounds (space, color wash, generic splatter) included, a prop but otherwise simple (like the center image) an extra $10.

some stuff is goin’ down~
This is the ‘sketch commission’ some of you may have heard me talking about. A long-time watcher of mine on dA and fan of my Johnny stuff really liked what I was doing in my scrap folder over there and requested I just do some pencil sketch adventures with her two characters.
It was nice to draw some things that I didn’t have any baggage attached to~
I’ve just sent this pencil work off for approval, so perhaps I’ll paint this very thing soon, or we’ll go back for some tweaking!

Art Saves Us?
So guys, here is the deal:
My since-2005 relationship is ending. There’s no hate or bitterness involved, in fact there’s mostly just love of all varieties, but there needs to be some time to become our own people for a while, sort out our own issues, and turn into big feminist butterflies before we ever flutter back to the same flower or some other tortured metaphor. She’s lovely and wonderful and utterly brilliant I don’t want to see anything negative leveled toward her in response to all this. We have to go our separate ways and leave Portland, so I will be returning to Pennsylvania to my parents. I love Portland, desperately and completely, but I don’t want to be here while I am sad, and I can’t afford to stay here by myself.
In a sense, though, I can hardly afford to leave either. The lease break fee is huge and I am going to have to rent a U-Haul to drive across the country after either my mother or brother gets a last-minute plane ticket to come get me sometime in the next two weeks or so. I haven’t driven in years and will need one of them to be a little more competent than I at vehicle to get me out of city limits without sobbing into the dashboard and accidentally off a bridge or something.
When all the fees are applied, (lease break, electric bill, u-haul rental, gas for said u-haul, plane ticket??, fees to get rid of large furniture?, hotel rooms in random places across the country, i don’t even know what else) I have a very lingering fear that I will be left with pretty much nothing.
Guys, I am scared. I am petrified. I am super vulnerable. I am facing 3,000 miles in a truck with one beloved relative and my own head that will start the process of shaping me into a better woman. The sooner I get this money, the sooner I can leave and not be sitting here torturing myself, alone in my apartment come Thanksgiving or whatever. This would also save me from the psychological warfare that is retail Christmas soundtracks and work days that start at 3am and end at 5pm.
If you’ve ever thought you wanted to commission me for some kinda art, this would be a good time. It would be a postponed commission - I would have to beg for your patience, because I will probably not get to it very soon what with all this going on, but once we hit, like, December, I can get moving. Your funds go to all the horrors mentioned above, and nothing else. In the unlikely event that there is overflow, it’s probably going to groceries when I get to the other side.
Alternately, if you just want to donate to the cause, that’d be incredible. And, if you don’t have that, if you feel like signal boosting, that’d be just as much so.
