Everyone was so fucked up about this coming, I even got an email from my internet people like, hey, you may have an outage if you lose power in this storm, it’s not actually a drop in quality of our internet, yet I’m just here, chillin’. It’s not even that great a doll, it’s just a character that means a lot to 14-year-old Lady and because dolls are the thing I do, that is what I want. It’s funny, the price has always been out of my reach, but it’s gone up over the years. I couldn’t have afforded to spend 50 bucks and fly it in from Japan when I was 14 when that was probably the going price for an unopened one, but it’s doable now when I’m an adult, even if it’s the price for a used one missing pieces. So of course the new ones are 300. Sad times.
It’s probably better that I not fill my apartment up with more dolls when I’m supposed to be buying shit for other people now, but dang.
